Josh M. was asked this question about biggest pain points. Here is what he said.
Micah J. was asked what keeps him up at night--what are the biggest problems right now?
• "My biggest question/pain point/mental block is scaling. I've got a good start. And I have some people helping me, but how do I create a structure that can support scale? How can I go after bigger clients with larger budgets when I don't have the people in place to handle bigger clients with larger budgets.
• The other pain point is managing billing. Staying up in invoicing and managing taxes has been difficult. At this point, I could almost teach a class on sales tax for digital/intangible goods. But it would've been helpful to have someone tell me all that in the very beginning.
• Biz dev is also something that keeps me up at night. If you don't have a good business development program in place, you may be somewhat successful, but it's literally just luck and luck runs out eventually."
Ryan H. expressed challenges and frustrations with growing outside of his own time constraints.
"Hey not sure what can be done, but I've been thinking ALOT about your company growth question. The biggest thing that is hurting our growth is having an experienced digital media coordinator. We have footage and pics and elements but no one to help move those around and get them to the proper editors. I've thought about hiring a team (as you have suggested before) but we would need an affordable freelance person who's available during our working hours.
